Grading

We follow the style of teaching as taught to our Sifu by the late Grand Master Mr. Ip Man. Beginners start by learning the Sil Lim Tao form followed by Single then Double Hand Chi Sao. Depending on the student’s diligence and dedication Sifu will determine when he/she is ready to learn Chum Kiu, Biu Tze and the Wooden Dummy.

Our training system is considered as open learning. Senior and junior students train together. Senior students are able to refresh their skills by helping to train juniors and juniors have the ability to train with their more experienced brothers and therefore learn and adapt more quickly. The purpose of our syllabus and grading structure is to guide each student on the path to Wing Chun mastery - but it is up to the student to walk it. We are defined by our dedication and ability, not by the belt we wear.
